Normand encourages futur woodworkers at the
«École nationale du meuble et de l’ébénisterie» of Victoriaville
Quebec, June 1, 2010 – last April 14, the «École nationale du meuble et de l’ébénisterie» held its annual Benny evening honouring the academic performance of its students. On this occasion, the School remitted its annual scholarships in the presence of teaching staff and corporate partners.
Once again, Normand was proud to contribute to the success of this event and was pleased to remit the «best student award» to Miss Christelle Brassard, third year DEC student.
For Normand, this financial participation is not only an important tradition, but it represents an encouragement for academic achievement as well as recognition of the talent and performance of students that dedicate themselves to woodworking.

«École nationale du meuble et de l’ébénisterie» merit awards
Quebec, June 1, 2010 – Once again this year, the Canadian Woodworking Machinery Distributor Association (CWMDA) awarded a $300 merit scholarship to a student of l’École nationale du meuble et de l’ébénisterie, in Victoriaville, Québec.
CWMDA merit scholarship program aims to recognize student efforts and success in certain specialized woodworking institutions located in Québec, Ontario and British Colombia.
