Description

Wood turning essentially boils down to 2 types: turning between the centers in which we can make pens, spindles, legs and poles and turning on the headstock where we can do bowls, boxes, burls and platters. Thus, the choice of turning chisels will vary depending on the type you would like to do.

The Boss greatly appreciates the Hamlet chisel selection manufactured by Henry Taylor® for over 150 years. Made in Sheffield, England, world renowned region for the quality of its steel, this company has learned to combine traditional production techniques with modern tempering processes. Made of M2 grade high speed steel with high wear resistance, these tools offer an excellent value for your money and are recognized around the world

All chisels are provided with a dark color hardwood (ash or beech) handle equipped with a solid bronze ferrule, all reflecting a high level of quality and refinement.

The skew is mainly used for rounding and profiling parts when turning between spindles. It allows to get an excellent surface finish

A word from the boss

Extra time for 2019! (19-01-15)

At the beginning of each New Year, the custom is to mutually exchange best wishes for health and happiness with family and friends. We take this opportunity to wish you all not only health but more time in order to be able to realize all the projects that matter most to you.

Unfortunately, at Normand, we do not sell time. But we continue to invest time and effort in order to increase the breath of products that might help you save your precious time.

Stay tuned and thank you for your patronage!
