Often, when you buy doors from hardware or directly from the manufacturer, they come mortised with rounded corners. Even if you do your own mortising with a hinge template, they will have rounded corners too.

If you do any door hanging, because many commercial hinge, latch and bolt plates have square corners, you have to square those rounded recesses. This corner chisel will solve your problems without too much problem.

  • Very simple device: a 90° HSS blade that slides along a guide protected by an outer cage
  • Self-aligns spring-loaded 2-¾" x 3/8" cutter edge for optimum accuracy
  • One blow with a hammer and you get a perfect corner
  • Makes a 90 degree square corner easily and quickly
  • Can be re-sharpened when needed

Not a gimmick; rather a must have!
