Description

Professional knife makers use flexible abrasive belts to put a razor sharp edge on their blades because they do not burn or damage blade steel.

Using the same technology, Work Sharp has developed a sharpener that includes 2 precision angle sharpening guides to ensure that you get the proper angle every time:

  • one 50º guide for hunting and outdoor knives (25º per bevel)
  • one 40º guide for kitchen and thinner blades (20º per bevel)

It can sharpen not just blade knives like kitchen and serrated knives, filet, hunting and pocket knives, but also all kind of working tools like scissors, axes, mower blades, garden shears, scrapers and shovels.

Compact, simple to use and multipurpose (even deburring), it comes with a belt kit (P80-coarse, P220-medium, 6000-fine for honing), instructional DVD and user’s guide.

Excellent for Dad’s lawn mower blades!

A word from the boss

Ready for woodworking season? (19-09-12)

A few years ago, the return of the woodworker to his shop coincided with back to school time.

This is no longer the case today. Summer is getting longer and we seize the opportunity to complete some outdoor work.

But it is never too early to plan your return to the workshop because, one day or another, nature will send you back in.

And the Boss will be there to provide you with ideas!

Have a great woodworking season!
